The Murray Downs Marina is situated in the parish of “Yellymong” - 1 kilometre from Swan Hill, 1412 river kilometers from the mouth of the Murray in South Australia.
In September 2000 we planted a small patch of Pinot Gris in the rich river silt, this variety was chosen to compliment the things we enjoy — Fishing, boating, eating good food and relaxing.
We are proud to have the services of Alan Cooper, noted wine maker of “Cobaw Ridge”. Watch out for our new releases of Chardonnay, Verdelho, Cabernet Merlot and Shiraz.
Our wines are produced to be easy drinking and good value, please indulge.

Rich and ripe but still retaining great acidity. Firm and fleshy with none of the fatness that this varietal can show. Hints of ripe melon, dry and showing lots of mineral flavours. A style that should turn more than a few heads. Who said not in a hot climate ! Cellar under Stelvin for 3/4 years or great to drink over this summer.
