The first planting of vines in October 1997 totaled just 24 acres. By the end end of 2004 the Ward family owned and operated vineyard will have achieved 150 acres of plantings. Formally a dry land Mallee farm, this modern vineyard includes in their plantings Shiraz, Cabernet, Chardonnay and Colombard. Their vintages include a 1999 and 2000 Shiraz - both bronze medal winners. All achieved in just seven short years.
