With an all consuming passion for perfection, George Shinas draws on time honoured traditions producing handcrafted wines. Shinas Estate Wines minimizes irrigation of the vineyard, which reduces cropping levels and enhances fruit quality. The Winery also utilises a horizontal trellis system, which allows for ideal fruit exposure which ripens the fruit to perfection.The fruit is left on the vines long beyond traditional periods, allowing the intense flavours that characterise their wine, to develop. In true boutique style, the fruit is then hand harvested with only the very best quality being selected.
Barrel aged, the wine has a concentrated aroma of mature fruit, French Oak and flavours that are full, rich and rewarding.
