Purchased in 2001, the Shaw family had a vision to upgrade and expand this unique property and wine. Their dreams were quickly realised with the main building being fully renovated and John Loxton welcomed aboard as their winemaker, which has brought consistency and depth to all estate vintaged premium varietals. An array of medals have been awarded to John’s wines and as a team they are always striving to increase their quality. Currency Creek Winery has a philosophy of continuously striving to achieve; sustainable farming with due care for the environment; excellent, affordable wines.
